​​Flo Moore is an electric and double bass player based in London. She graduated from the Royal Academy of Music in 2015 with first-class honours in Jazz and a Regency award, and has since been made an Associate. She was also nominated in the British Jazz Awards 'Rising Star' category in 2019. Flo continues to be an active freelance bassist on the UK jazz scene.

Flo has played for Jordan Rakei, Katie Melua, Alfa Mist, Ezra Collective, Ashley Henry, Keaton Henson, Damian Lewis, Hugh Harris (the Kooks), Drew MacFarlane (Glass Animals), Judi Jackson, Aimie Atkinson, Jason Rebello, Yazz Ahmed, Emma Rawicz, Paul Booth, Zoe Rahman, Anatole Muster, Eliza Oakes, Quinn Oulton, Cherise and Dizraeli among many others. She has toured extensively around the world with various artists and played at numerous prestigious venues and festivals, such as the Royal Albert Hall, Sydney Opera House, Glastonbury West Holts, North Sea Jazz Festival, Love Supreme, Barbican, Brixton 02 Academy, Blue Note Milan, Ronnie Scott's, Royal Festival Hall, Birmingham Symphony Hall, Sage Gateshead, National Concert Hall Dublin and the Queen Elizabeth Hall. She also has West End experience playing in shows such as Book of Mormon, SIX and the National Theatre's 'Hex'.

Flo's recording credits include tracks featuring USA session legends Simon Phillips, Frank Gambale, Chad Wackerman, Barry Finnerty and Dean Brown, as well as working with Grammy award-winning producer Jason Miles (Chaka Khan, Miles Davis) on two albums. She is on Jordan Rakei's album 'Live from the Royal Albert Hall'. She has recorded at BBC Maida Vale, RAK, AIR, Real World, Metropolis, Trident, Konk, Livingstone, Eastcote, Dean Street, Lightship 95 and Church Studios. Her TV and radio highlights include Later... with Jools Holland, BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 2 and BBC 6 Music Festival supporting The Smile with Jordan Rakei. Flo's writing credits include the track 'Trust' from Jordan's latest album 'The Loop', which was selected to be on the FC25 soundtrack. She has also been a featured artist in both Bass Player and Jazzwise magazines.

Flo also has a wide range of educational experience, teaching many pupils privately, as well as having been a visiting tutor for Middlesex University and B:Music's 'Rise Up' programme. She has delivered seminars for the world's biggest online bass education platform Scott's Bass Lessons and has been involved in masterclasses at Guildhall School of Music and Drama, Leeds College of Music and Salford University. She has also been a faculty member of the Guildhall Junior department, and the Loire Music and Global Music Foundation summer schools.​
